Welcome to FoodBoss Order Guard!

FoodBoss Order Guard, OrderGuard, Order Guard ("Order Guard") is a protection program offered by FoodBoss.com to enhance your food delivery experience. By purchasing or using Order Guard, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Program Overview
    Order Guard is a service that provides additional protection on your food delivery orders. It is not insurance.
  2. Eligibility & Automatic Enrollment
    1. Registered User
      The individual must be a current registered user of FoodBoss.com, having completed the registration process and maintaining an active account.
    2. Automatic Enrollment
      If you purchase Order Guard and are not a registered user, we will automatically enroll you as a FoodBoss.com user, subject to our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. There is no additional charge to be a FoodBoss.com user.
    3. Enrollment in Order Guard
      The user must be actively enrolled in the FoodBoss Order Guard program. Enrollment is confirmed when the user purchases and is charged for a monthly or annual order guard subscription.
  3. Non-Insurance
    Order Guard is a protection service and IS NOT insurance. It is intended to provide additional assurance and support for your food delivery experience.
  4. Effective Date and Activation of Plan
    The FoodBoss Order Guard protection becomes effective on the date of purchase ("Effective Date"). However, under the FoodBoss Order Guard program, there is a 30-day waiting period from the Effective Date. During this waiting period, participants are not eligible to receive benefits. Benefits become fully active following the 30-day waiting period, provided that all other conditions are met.
  5. Terms and Conditions of FoodBoss.com
    Your use of Order Guard is subject to the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions of FoodBoss.com.
  6. Pricing and Subscription Changes
    FoodBoss reserves the right to update the pricing for the Order Guard service at any time without prior notice. Prices for our services may change periodically, and FoodBoss does not provide price protection or refunds in the event of a price reduction or promotional offering.
  7. Cancellation Policy
    FoodBoss has the right to cancel any user's FoodBoss account and/or Order Guard subscription at its sole discretion, without notice. Reasons include, but are not limited to, breach of Terms, misuse of the service, or account inactivity.
  8. Exclusions and Limitations
    1. Monthly Maximum Refund
      Participants are eligible for a maximum refund amount of $100 in a calendar month.
    2. Annual Maximum Refund Amount
      The maximum refund amount a participant can receive in a single calendar year is $500.
    3. Submission Limit
      Participants are limited to one approved claim submission per calendar month, eligible for a refund up to the monthly maximum.
  9. Claims Process & Eligibility
    1. Submission Timeline
      Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of the purchase.
    2. Eligible Third-Party Services
      The purchase must be made through one of the eligible third-party delivery services. The list is subject to change at FoodBoss's discretion.
    3. Receipt Requirements
      The receipt must be the original or digital copy showing the purchase details.
    4. Claims Documentation
      Claims must include a completed claims form and the original receipt.
    5. Claim Submission Process
      Claims must be mailed to FoodBoss' designated office. Processing may take up to 6 weeks.
    6. Account Status
      To qualify for refunds:
      1. Active Subscription: User must have an active subscription during the claim process.
      2. Account in Good Standing: No outstanding dues at the time of claim submission.
      • Sub-point: Ensure your subscription remains active during the claim process.
      • Sub-point: Verify no pending dues before submitting claims.
  10. Modifications and Termination
    We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Order Guard program, these Terms, or any part thereof, at any time without notice.

9. Claims Process & Eligibility For a claim to be eligible for a refund under the FoodBoss Order Guard program, the following conditions must be met:

  • 9.1 Submission Timeline Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of the completion of the purchase. Claims filed after this period will not be eligible for a refund.
  • 9.2 Eligible Third-Party Services The purchase must be made through one of the eligible third-party delivery services. The list of eligible services is subject to change at FoodBoss’s discretion. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the purchase is made through an eligible service before filing a claim.
  • 9.3 Receipt Requirements The receipt submitted must be the original print-out or digital copy of the purchase delivery order. The receipt must clearly show the date of purchase, the amount paid, and the service provider’s details.
  • 9.4 Claims Documentation All claims must include a fully completed claims form and the original receipt of the delivery order to qualify for a refund. Incomplete submissions or those lacking the necessary documentation will not be considered for a refund.
  • 9.5 Claim Submission Process To be eligible for approval, all claims must be submitted by mail and received at FoodBoss’ designated processing office. Claims will not be processed or approved until they are received in full at the processing office. The address and further details for submission are provided in the claims instructions section.
  • 9.6 Account Status To be eligible for a refund or reimbursement under the Order Guard program, the user must meet the following criteria:
  • Active Subscription: The user must have a current and active Order Guard subscription at the time of the claim submission and throughout the processing of the claim.
  • Account in Good Standing: The user's account must be paid in full and in good standing, with no outstanding dues or pending payments for the Order Guard service.
    Claims submitted by users who cancel their subscription while their claims are still pending processing will not be eligible for refunds or reimbursements. Claims are only eligible if the subscription remains active and the account remains in good standing until the claim is fully processed.

It is essential for users to comply with these requirements to ensure their claim is processed efficiently and to improve the chances of a successful refund. FoodBoss reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the documentation provided and to reject any claim that does not meet these criteria. Future updates to the claim process may require the submission of photographic evidence or additional documentation to support the claim.

Claims submitted under the FoodBoss Order Guard program will be processed as promptly as possible. Please be advised that the processing of claims may take up to 6 weeks from the mailing date. This time frame allows for a thorough review and verification of the claim and accompanying documentation to ensure compliance with our Terms and Conditions. We appreciate your patience during this period and will make every effort to resolve claims within this time frame.

10. Modifications and Termination We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Order Guard program, these Terms, or any part thereof, at any time without notice.
